Policies & Disclosures
The following information is provided to support clarity, transparency, and mutual understanding in our work together.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Appointments are reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, are typically charged the full session fee. This policy helps protect the consistency of the work and the time set aside for you.
I understand that unexpected circumstances arise, and I approach these situations with care and discretion whenever possible.
Fees & Payment
Fees are due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Please refer to the Offerings page for information about current session fees.
Out-of-Network Insurance
I do not accept insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider. If your insurance plan offers reimbursement for out-of-network services, I can provide superbills for you to submit directly to your insurance company.
Licensure & Telepsychology
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas and hold authorization to practice telepsychology in participating PSYPACT states. This allows me to provide virtual therapy services to clients located in states that are members of PSYPACT at the time of service.
If you are located outside of Texas and are interested in working together, please feel free to reach out to confirm whether services can be provided in your state.
Emergencies & Urgent Needs
My practice is not equipped to provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact your local crisis line.
Questions
If you have questions about these policies or need clarification, you’re welcome to reach out. I believe clear expectations support safer, more effective therapeutic work.
Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your mental health care will cost.
If you do not have insurance, or if you choose not to use insurance, you may request a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services. This estimate will be provided in writing prior to services beginning, or upon request.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the bill. Additional information about your rights under the No Surprises Act is available at
